Rone
Rone is the foremost expert that he knows of on imaginary and mysterious animals. He spends every weekend at the $2 movie theater watching whatever strikes his fancy (usually comedies or action films because there aren’t enough movies about sea monsters).
Likes: magic tricks, arcade games, trains, november, pocket watches, bugs (specifically, small brown moths), and strawberry rhubarb pie.
Dislikes: sticky floors, tickling, getting gum or link stuck in his hair, cold & clammy hands, flying kites alone, falling down stairs, thieves, and potato eyes.
Illika
Illika is descended from three generations of French bee-keepers. She raises bees and kittens and likes to think that if they ever were to speak to someone, they would speak to her.
Likes: cats, books with pictures, her usual height , crunching leaves, music from before she was born, tea with lots of sugar, and green houses.
Dislikes: sweat pants, boring lessons, disorderly tea parties, egomaniacal monarchs, people her own age, other people feeling embarrassed, itchy sweaters, and loud televisions.
